Hace unos cuantos años, una compañera de trabajo vino a mi despacho (de cuando teníamos despachos, aunque fuesen pequeños) y me recomendó – con una contundente insistencia – que me descargara una app de fotografía que acababan de lanzar unos amigos suyos. «A ver qué te parece«. Esa app es, hoy, una fabulosa comunidad de fotógrafos de todo el mundo cuya principal obsesión (llámalo misión) es retratar las historias que nos rodean y compartirlas con quien quiera descubrirlas. Agora Images, de Barcelona al mundo (gracias por esa recomendación, Xènia).
Y he de decir que esta no es la primera vez que Agora visita Phusions, lo cual no es raro, claro, pero sí he de decir que en esta ocasión lo hace por todo lo alto, con galones y de etiqueta. Hoy, traigo las 50 fotografías finalistas del Agora photo contest of the year, #BestPhotoOf2020. Un concurso con un premio de 25.000$ para el fotógrafo más votado en la app (por lo que, por cierto, ya sabes: descárgatela y vota).
Entre estos finalistas encontrarás imágenes que llegan directamente de países como Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Brasil, Canada, Francia, España, Georgia, Alemania, Ghana, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Italia, Japón, Malaysia,Nigeria, Noruega, Pakistan, Portugal, Rusia, el Reino Unido o los States, por nombrar algunos. Y eso se refleja en las diferentes visiones que se comparten del mundo con el que conviven.
